How to Order
You can use the online shopping cart, email autshop@aut.ac.nz, or phone (09) 921 9800. If you want to pay by ICD (AUT Staff), please email us the order instead.
Can I collect my order from you?
Yes – Just pop into our shop at 49 Wellesley Street East- Located in WH building,room: WH 102. Open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. Any orders received after 3.00 pm on a Friday or over the weekend, will NOT be processed until the following Monday.
How do I pay for my order?
Pay online via direct credit or online by credit card. AUT Staff paying by ICD, please email the ICD to autshop@aut.ac.nz, with the internal charge code and authorisation name, and delivery address.
Delivery Info
How is my freight charge calculated for my order?
Freight charges are dependent on the size of your order. The freight charge will be part of your final order shopping cart confirmation.
How long does it take for me to receive my order?
All orders received by 3.00pm will be endeavoured to be sent to you that day. If you live in the rural or in the South Island, please allow 2 -3 days for delivery. Any orders received after 2pm cannot be guaranteed to be dispatched on that day.
How do you send my order?
Goods sent to addresses in New Zealand, will be sent via track and trace courier and will arrive to you within 5-10 working days from payment of order. If goods are not received within the 5 working days, please contact us at autshop@aut.ac.nz or Ph (09) 921 9800 with your order number and we will track the package through the courier.
Goods sent oversea, will be sent thought air mail and will arrive to you within 10-20 working days from payment of order. If goods are not received within the 20 working days, please contact us at autshop@aut.ac.nz or Ph (09) 921 9800 with your order number and we will track the package through the courier.
Do your prices include freight?
Our prices do not include freight. If you need the freight charges to be confirmed before you order please contact us for a freight estimate.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Yes – but please remember we have a very fast turnaround time and any additions to your order placed may be invoiced separately, therefore incurring extra freight charges.
Returns
AUTSHOP are committed to providing the best quality products to our customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you must return the goods within 14 days of purchasing for a full refund. The goods must be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
If you would like to return your item in person, please note our physical address is 49 Wellesley Street East.
You can also contact AUTSHOP by email at autshop@aut.ac.nz or Phone on (09) 921 9800, and we will then advise you on how best to return the goods to us.
Exchange Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you need to exchange an item, please review our policy below:
Eligibility for Exchange
- Timeframe: Items are eligible for exchange within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Condition: Items must be in their original condition, unwashed, unworn, and with all tags and labels intact.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for exchange:
- Custom or personalised items.
- Items marked as “final sale.”
Process for Exchange
- In-Store: Bring the item and your proof of purchase to any of our store locations for assistance.
- Online:
- Contact us at autshop@aut.ac.nz to initiate the exchange.
- You will be provided with a return shipping label.
- Once the item is received and inspected, the replacement item will be shipped to you.
Shipping Costs
- Exchanges for defective or incorrect items will be processed at no additional cost to you.
- For size or preference exchanges, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item is damaged or defective, please notify us within 7 days of Proof of Purchase (A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required). We will replace it or issue a refund based on your preference.

Size Guide
The sizing of our tees, polo-shirts or other garments are determined by the size chart you will find corresponding to each style within our catalogue. Don’t forget to take the style of the garment into consideration when choosing your size. Some styles are unisex fits, some are slim fits and some are modern fits.
Chest – Measure around your chest and back, from just under your armpit - only use half the measurement to follow the size chart.
Waist – Measure around the natural waist line keeping tape comfortably loose - only use half the measurement to follow the size chart.
